So anyways, I've had this web server running on my computer for a while not doing a whole lot other than giving me access to some files while not home and sharing files easily with others. But, I did build a website for what seems to be my lost web comic idea because my friend is incredibly lazy and refuses to draw. So really until I either learn to draw or find someone to draw (preferably in my circle of friends, but really, at this point I'm open) the project is most certainly dead. I mean, me and my friend can continue to come up with ideas and make scripts for said comics, but honestly that doesn't really get us anywhere. Personally, I'd love to learn to draw myself because I know how I want everything to be drawn and it isn't necessarily easy to convey that to someone else. My drawing skills as of now are really....average at best honestly, and while I probably have the time to actually clock some time improving I'm not exactly motivated at all. For one, nobody is really pushing me towards this goal, not even my co-author. Secondly I already feel like I've done a lot of work towards preparing for the web comic itself (building the website, making a couple scripts, constantly coming up with ideas), that I'd like someone else to fulfill the role. But honestly, this is probably one of the projects that has gotten the farthest out of the ones on my list to do. I'm still quite optimistic about it, its just I have a huge need for an artist that's blocking any progress really.
So I really got off topic. Back to what I was saying, I have this web server, and its sitting there with a mostly built website (which I just did some more PHP on and realized how much I miss working with PHP and programming) and a blog with a few entries. While the website is geared towards my webcomic I think I've decided I'm just going to use it for personal use now in place of DA (since I update this SO often). More or less just my random thoughts on stuff, and honestly I don't expect to update it more often than what I have on here xD. Who knows though, I may find it easier to post stuff on my own blog, however its a lot more secluded to the general public (not that I mind, I like writing just so I can come back years later and see what I wrote). So if anybody is interested in keeping up with whatever I'd normally put here, the link is [link] and yes it does not use a normal port because my ISP dislikes me and blocks port 80 and I'm too cheap to pay for a real url so I have a free no-ip one.
